We made it home!

So we made it home safe and sound. It feels great to be home and now it's back to reality. We are trying to get back into our routine which will probably take us awhile. We just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has followed us through this journey. Thank you for all your support, prayers, and love. We are truly blessed and we are so thankful to all of you. We will never be able to say thank you enough, or show how appreciative we are for everything that has been done for us. This past month has been incredible and it was all made possible because of all of YOU! Thank you again and now that we love you all. We will continue to keep you posted with Marks progress. Sorry to say it won't be an everyday thing but I will be sure to keep it updated so you will know what's going on with Mark. Thanks for making this all possible!

  1. So just to maintain my status as #1 fan, I just went back to make sure I left a comment on every one of your posts. I am so glad you made it home safe. I really didn't get too sappy on any of my previous posts, so I think I can now. I don't personally know of any other two people that have more faith and positive outlook than you guys. I know the last few years have not been easy, but I have seen you grow and touch others that you never would have had the chance to. Life is full of course changes and bumps in the road. You have both made the best of your situation and have turned your challenges into blessings. I love you guys and am so proud of you. I am proud to be your sister, Celeste. You are an incredible example to me and I love you so much. Mark, I love you too, for your perserverance and your competitiveness. I know you will never give up, in anything you do. You will always keep trying until you figure out a way to get it done :). Thanks for letting us all be a part of this journey that is only beginning. I can't wait to keep checking back!
    Love you guys!

  2. Seriously!?! :-) You put a picture of cute little Mark eating and then a picture of your ugly sister-in-law sleeping in the van!

    Go figure!

Well great times and memories. I am so glad you mentioned that we beat the boys in cards! :-) It was all too awesome and can't wait to see you again soon. Mark keep up the good work. What incredible progress!

  6. Hey you two. Celeste you don't know me, but Mark I am pretty dang sure you know me. I am so glad I finally found you guys somewhere. I don't know where to start. I have wept and wept at this blog, some tears out of sadness and others out of pure joy for your progress. Wow Celeste, you are truly a hero and example to so many. Your ambition for Mark's healing is inspirational.I found out about the accident shortly after I had my first baby. I cried and cried and for a long long time I put a lot of blame on myself. I still do at times feel like what if I had just been there, could I have prevented it. I know Mark you are, if not the strongest person I know. Please know my prayers and my families prayers have always been with you and Celeste. What a beautiful woman by the way. Celeste you are so wonderful, this I know because Mark only deserves the best and only had the best expectations. Please let me know how you are doing and if there is ANYTHING I can do, fundraisers, cord blood storage (sounds funny, but I am serious.) Mark was a very very special person in my life and always will be. My email is audsquires@msn.com or you can just go to my family blog at squiresjourney.blogspot.com I wish the best for you both in the trials and blessings that await you.
